What is sent to the server

The public link you submit is sent to our server and to TikTok or the TikWM resolution provider. Unlike a local file tool, a downloader needs to contact the source to retrieve its available media. Do not submit private URLs, passwords or account cookies.

Temporary results

Download links expire after one hour. Temporary results and cached media are removed by a cleanup task that runs every five minutes. A download link can give another person access to that public file while it remains valid, so avoid sharing the result if you do not want that.

Cookies and request limits

A session cookie protects form submissions. Request counts use a hashed IP address to limit misuse, while normal server security logs may contain an IP address. Analytics and advertising scripts are not currently active. The privacy page describes the current operation of the service.
